Long drive but beautiful

 Today we left Laguna/Algund and headed back to Trauchgau, Bavaria.   There was terrible traffic today, but our drive was gorgeous through the Alps of Italy, Austria and Germany.  Now relaxing with a glass of wine in hand with Janice smelling the sweet smells of manure (we are in farm country) at a local restaurant - the only place with wifi!!!  All is great, but tired and getting fat. I've been eating cake everyday since that is Gabi and Roland's version of lunch.  Oh my.....

 We arrived safely to Trauchgau and feel the warm welcome of Gabi and Roland.  I feel so at home with them.  We take a casual stroll in the neighborhood of farm houses, cows, horses, winding roads and the sound of church and cow bells.  Naturally we have the tradition shot of schnapps before a fantastic dinner cooked by Gabi.  Not up to my usual drinking habits, but did my part not to insult Roland.   Cow shit and shadows
