Taking advantage of this wonderful location in the foothills of the Alps, I took the Buchenbuergbahn (chair lift) up to the Buchenberg with a perfect panoramic view of the valley and several lakes to include the Forggensee. Janice, Gabi and Roland hiked up the mountain while I took the scenic route. Once on the mountaintop I was rewarded with a Bavarian oompah band and scenic outdoor seating. Loved watching the paragliders taking advantage of the gorgeous weather. Couldn't ask for a better day.
