Sunday passeggiare in Mergellina Napoli and a concert at San Carlos
Scenes from this gorgeous day!!! The day started with a cappuccino decorated with an image of San Gennaro. Today is San Gennaro's name day and the day the blood of San Gennaro, patron saint of Naples, liquefied which is seen as a good omen.

At night we treated ourselves to a concert at San Carlos Theater - the oldest active theater in the world. Excellent concert and we couldn't ask for a better venue. It was a Gala concerto in omaggio a Enrico Caruso. Three opera singers sang songs from various operas to include La Traviata and ended with one of my all time favorites "O Sole Mio".

OMG! Your cappuccinos are AMAZING! I'm loving your blog and Janice's posts on FB. Thanks for sharing and keeping us all up to date! The smoke has cleared here in Northern Calif. so we're enjoying Indian Summer. Enjoy you two!!
